Qualifications

• MS in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Food Science, Biological Sciences or closely related field.
• Completed a research-based thesis or equivalent laboratory research project.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand and control Salmonella and Campylobacter in commercial poultry production.
• Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and sequencing library preparation.
• Work in BSL-2 laboratories and poultry facilities; culture, isolation, and classical microbiology methods.
