Job summary

Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Stats, or related life sciences field.
- Programming skills in Python, R, Java, C/C++, or Perl; proficient with Linux/UNIX.
- Independent problem-solving abilities and good communication with strong teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Develop ML-based system biology approaches to decipher host-pathogen networks in avian and HPAI strains.
- Focus on data integration, algorithm development and computational modeling of pathogen-host interactions.
- Map avian-HPAI host-pathogen interactions using proteomic/transcriptomic data; identify drug targets.
- Perform structure-based screening, docking and MD simulations; build a public database and UI.
- Explore applicability of tools to relevant host-pathogen systems.
