Job summary

You will design and execute a concept study, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for future innovation, with on-site collaboration 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Working towards a PhD in relevant sensory/science field.
• Strong foundation in emotion measurement and research.
• Experience with consumer research and experimental design.
• Experience with descriptive sensory analysis or lexicon development.
• Strong statistical analysis skills with common software tools.
• Ability to connect sensory experiences with business outcomes.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual scientific communication.
• Available to work a 12-week internship from May/June to August 2027 onsite 3-4 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Develop a framework for measuring emotional responses to oral care experiences.
• Design and execute a proof-of-concept human-subject study using sensory/behavioral methods.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the approach.
• Link sensory experiences to consumer behavior and product performance.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for product development.
• Independently manage the research program from design to final recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners and communicate findings clearly.
