Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Quantitative Researcher to build core ML models that identify fraud and expand our risk products. The role targets new PhD graduates or early-career researchers applying ML to real-world fraud detection, delivering end-to-end work from research to deployment in production.

You will work on multiple teams, collaborate across the company, and own your domain with high visibility. The role offers remote options within the U.S. with preference for Austin, SF, or NY offices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science.
• Experience with Python and common data science tools through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and build data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models across the full model lifecycle.
• Build foundational modeling to support expanding Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new fraud types and develop new identity verification products.
• Iterate with data sourcing, feature engineering, and data quality improvements.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making with partners.
• Design and present analyses to inform data acquisition, product development, risk operations, marketing, and sales.
