Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Research Scientist in the United States to build core fraud-detection models and expand its financial risk products. The role targets new PhD graduates or early-career researchers applying ML to real-world fraud detection, with production-grade code and end-to-end ownership.

You will work on multiple teams across the company, conducting research, developing new products, and delivering insights to sales and marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science.
• Experience with Python and common data science tools through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and build data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
• Interest in fraud, identity, and financial risk systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud-detection models across the full model development lifecycle.
• Build modeling to drive SentiLink’s Fraud and Financial Risk products.
• Research new fraud types and develop new products around identity verification.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making by partners.
• Design analyses to inform data acquisition, product development, and risk priorities.
