Job summary

Health Advances is seeking PhD-trained scientists to apply their technical expertise while developing business, strategic, and industry skills to become healthcare consultants. You will enable clients to commercialize products and formulate business strategies across healthcare sectors.

Senior Analysts are paired with a Management Team mentor, gaining professional development through onboarding, case work, and cross-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• PhD in the life sciences.
• Exceptional quantitative skills.

• Willingness to learn the business of healthcare in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to travel to the Boston area for training and work in Newton/Boston.

Responsibilities

• Synthesizing research findings into persuasive actionable insights for clients.
• Conducting technical, clinical, and market assessments across healthcare markets.
• Performing qualitative and quantitative research with researchers, clinicians, patients/consumers, and industry experts.
• Building forecasts and financial models to support client decision-making.
• Collaborating with team leaders to select analytical approaches.
• Developing and presenting analyses and recommendations to client teams and senior leadership.
