Job summary

Amazon in Redmond is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer on the Antenna team to contribute to phased array antenna systems for satellites and customer terminals, from concept to production.

You will design PCBs, antennas, high-speed RF circuitry, and implement basic signaling algorithms while working with silicon, software, mechanical, and avionics teams to ensure hardware interoperability; you will also coordinate with vendors for parts and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware development for satellite/RF systems.
• Ability to design PCBs and antennas and interface with software/hardware teams.
• Familiarity with lab testing and prototype bring-up processes.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBs, antennas, high-speed RF circuitry, and test fixtures.
• Develop basic signaling/ control algorithms interacting with hardware.
• Conduct lab bring-up, testing, and optimization of phased array prototypes.
• Collaborate with silicon, software, mechanical, and avionics teams for interoperability.
