Job summary
Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Phase 1 Research Advanced Practice Provider in Chandler, AZ. Qualified candidates are licensed NPs or PAs with clinical research and gastroenterology/hepatology experience and a strong understanding of trial protocols to act as sub-investigators and expand innovative patient care.
The role reports to the VP of Research, is full-time exempt, with a salary range of $110k-$150k.
Qualifications
- Must hold RN/NP license and NP certification.
- Bachelor's in Nursing and NP/PA program completed.
- ARCE-accredited program with NCCPA certification for PA preferred.
- GCP and IATA trainings completed.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations, consults, and pretreatment reviews for standard of care and research patients.
- Educate patients on therapeutic options through liver clinical trials onsite.
- Perform specialized procedures and assist MD with diagnosis.
- Counsel patients and families and collaborate with physicians for direct care interventions.
- Serve as primary point of contact for patient care management.
- Oversee patient care in clinical trials and conduct safety reviews.
- Coordinate with CR coordinators and recruiters to complete visits and document accurately.
- Review study documentation, charting, and informed consents.
- Communicate with study team and understand protocols.
- Manage study patients from first visit to closeout.
