Job summary

Fortrea in Madison, WI is seeking a Lab Technician to support Phase I clinical research activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will perform routine sample processing, follow specimen handling procedures, and operate laboratory equipment while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role includes participation in the collection of biological specimens and helping to streamline workflows to ensure timely processing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, but relevant lab experience may substitute.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Experience in a clinical research setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory sample processing for Phase I unit.
• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
• Operate laboratory equipment and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Participate in collection and processing of biological specimens.
• Facilitate workflow to ensure timely processing.
