Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Lab Technician in Dallas, TX for a PRN, office-based role to support healthy volunteer clinical trials and generate high-quality data.

You will handle specimens, operate lab equipment, and collaborate with a clinical team in a fast-paced, regulated environment, with related PPE and safety requirements. Exposure to cutting-edge therapies and in-human studies is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with biological specimens and using PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• High volume collecting, handling, processing, and shipping specimens (including PK samples).
• Operating and maintaining lab equipment and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
• Troubleshooting sample or equipment issues.
• Managing reagent and supply inventories.
• Safely handling hazardous materials.
• Supporting daily lab workflows and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
