The Teacher Retirement System of Texas in Austin is seeking a Clinical Consultant Associate for a full-time, temporary role. You will support TRS Health’s clinical initiatives, review pharmacy programs, analyze cost drivers, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to improve program effectiveness.

The fellowship is aimed at recent pharmacy graduates. Target start date is January 2027, with opportunities to learn and contribute within a supportive, mission-driven health division.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree awarded within the last 12 months.
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of health plan operations and healthcare concepts.
• Able to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats.

Responsabilités

• Assist in tracking and documenting pharmacy benefit decisions and changes.
• Assist in evaluating clinical programs impacting cost, quality and outcomes.
• Support coordination with vendors and data materials for reviews.
• Identify errors or inefficiencies in clinical workflows and document outcomes.
• Analyze pharmacy trends and utilization patterns to inform decisions.
