Welltopia Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician & Wellness Store Associate to join our independent community pharmacy team. This hybrid role blends pharmacy support, front-store service, and wellness retail to help customers find health solutions.

You will assist the pharmacist with prescription processing, educate customers on wellness products, and provide friendly, personalized service in a busy, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician registration, certification, or licensing must meet state requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Interest in medications, supplements, and wellness.
• Comfortable using computers, registers, and digital systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to balance pharmacy duties with front-store service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with prescription processing and daily pharmacy operations.
• Enter prescription and patient information accurately into the system.
• Manage prescription pickup, payments, refill requests, and insurance information.
• Receive prescriptions and verify that required information is complete.
• Maintain organized patient and pharmacy records.
• Refer questions to the pharmacist.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy policies and applicable regulations.
• Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Help customers locate store products.
• Introduce customers to Welltopia’s wellness products without making unauthorized clinical claims.
• Connect customers with the pharmacist when professional guidance is needed.
• Process purchases, returns, and front-register transactions accurately.
• Receive, organize, price, and display incoming merchandise.
• Monitor inventory and keep popular products in stock.
• Maintain attractive, clean, and easy-to-shop product displays.
• Learn about new products, promotions, and wellness categories.
• Help create a warm, personalized experience that encourages customers to return.
