Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
  • Six to twelve months of shipping experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pack patient orders for shipment per policy to ensure arrival undamaged.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, shipping area, and pharmacy space.
  • Assemble shipping materials and ensure supplies are available.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing patient charts and shipping items via FedEx.
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to company policies and compliance.
  • Work with co-workers and customers in a constructive, respectful manner.
  • Report safety hazards and follow Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Summar

The Pharmacy Warehouse Coordinator, under the supervision of a pharmacist, supports the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy department

Essential Functions And Duties
  • Pack patient orders for shipment per policy and procedure to ensure all medication, supplies, and durable medical equipment (DME) arrive undamaged.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and fully stocked work environment including pharmacy, shipping area and warehouse space.
  • Take cardboard and trash related items to appropriate areas in FFF Warehouse for disposal
  • Assemble shipping boxes and ensure adequate shipping supplies, including boxes, packing material, and ice packs, are always available.
  • Perform clerical duties of department which includes filing of patient charts and shipping of additional items via FedEx.
  • Participate in mid-year and annual pharmacy inventories.
  • Adhere specifically to all company policies and procedures, federal, state, and compliance requirements /regulations/laws.

Required Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Required Knowledge
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality to the level of required HIPAA standards.
Preferred Experience
  • Six (6) to twelve (12) months of shipping experience in a warehouse environment
Required Skills
  • Basic level of understanding and use of computers applications that include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet technologies.
  • Operate office equipment which includes computer, scanner, printer, copier, and phones.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Work with a high degree of accuracy in an organized, detail-oriented manner with appropriate follow up as required.
  • Proactive approach to managing workload, able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
  • Able to work as part of a team, including on-site and remote teammates.
  • Display excellent judgment on a consistent basis with sound decision‑making abilities.
Physical requirements

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. Must have the ability to lift and maneuver items of at least 50 lbs. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal warehouse setting

Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self‑control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’ situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
