Job summary

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy serving long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. The position supports daily pharmacy operations, including stocking, packaging, and distributing medications under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and an Ohio Pharmacy Technician Trainee license (reimbursed after 90 days). Healthcare or pharmacy experience is preferred; must be 17+ and capable of multitasking and light lifting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician Trainee license must be obtained (reimbursed at 90 days).
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working with Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, restocking, and removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adherence to policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Shift:

• Monday-Friday & every other weekend.
• 6pm-2:30am
• 10pm-6:30am
