Job summary

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy delivering personalized pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team and grow with us.

This full-time role involves supporting daily operations, maintaining stock, and ensuring accurate packaging, filling, and shipping of medications. Shifts include 8-hour blocks with day, evening, overnight, and weekend options.

Qualifications

• Virginia Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy and/or data entry experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable with strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience in a Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, restocking and removing expired medications.
• Rotate medication stock to ensure quality control.
• Prepack bulk medications for floor stock.
• Package, fill, and ship medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Shift:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday and every other weekend.
• Available shifts include:
  • 6 pm - 2:30 am.
  • 10:00 pm - 6:30 am.
