Job Description Summary The Technician V is a lead technician with supervisory functions. They will perform duties of a Registered Technician under the direction of a supervising pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations. This position performs routine and clerical function for drug distribution to patients, can perform independently within their scope of responsibility, and will supervise team members, processes and operations.

Job Description
Additional Job Description High school diploma or equivalent (GED), Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP), Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (Except). Failure to maintain certification will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Advanced certification: SC Board of Pharmacy State Certification or other area-specific advanced certification from an approved provider (e.g. ASHP, PTCB). Minimum experience: 3 years preferred. Must be able to: Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy, multitask, maintain composure under stressful situations, pay great attention to detail, demonstrate professionalism, Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
