Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working toward licensed technician certification through a certified national program required.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products for dispensing.
• Handle prescription processing and insurance billing under supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient information and safety records per HIPAA.
• Order, stock, and log pharmacy supplies and invoices as necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness of the pharmacy and dispensing area and adhere to store guidelines.
