KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Trainee to provide entry-level support in prescription processing, customer service, and inventory within our pharmacy.

The trainee learns under close supervision and participates in the Kinney Certification Program to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician within 2 years. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter and drive-thru, entering patient data, ensuring correct billing, and supporting inventory management

Formación

• Entry-level trainee learning prescription processing under close oversight.
• Currently enrolled in Kinney Certification Program to become a registered technician within 2 years.
• Adheres to state and federal regulations including HIPAA.
• Manages patient data accurately and communicates clearly with customers.
• Supports inventory, billing and dispensing processes with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers at the pharmacy counter and drive-thru with courteous service.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate patient and prescription information in the system.
• Ensure appropriate billing through third party payors and review claims as necessary.
• Verify that every prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
• Support inventory activities including ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Assist in non-sterile compounding as permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain pharmacy tools, technology, and dispensing systems and ensure compliance with policies.
