Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, prepare and dispense medications, and ensure patient safety in a busy specialty & retail setting. The role emphasizes precision, compassion, and ongoing training of students and new staff, within a collaborative, learning-forward environment.

Applicants must have a NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician credential and an approved training program or equivalent experience inside hospital or retail pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Formal Pharmacy Technician training completed or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician in NY.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification obtained.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy environment.
