NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Campus is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician for Specialty and Retail Pharmacy. Location Flushing, NY with rotating shifts. The role emphasizes specialized medications and personalized patient care in a trusted academic medical center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• NYS registered Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• Experience as Pharmacy Technician in hospital or retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring your specialty pharmacy experience to our organization and help provide each patient with the highest possible level of personalized care.
• Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing medications and delivering high-quality patient care, especially for complex cases.
• Advocate for patient safety by following stringent standards and best practices.
• Assist with training of students, interns and new technicians.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience utilizing pharmacy inventory automation systems
• 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment
