Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician in a Specialty Pharmacy Call Center. The role involves preparation, storage, and dispensing of prescriptions with rotations through IV admixture, unit-dose, OR, and outpatient Pharmacy services.
Data entry and record-keeping are also part of the responsibilities. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, sterile compounding experience or 6 months technician experience, and MI licensure upon hire for technician
About the Unit Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements.
Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required. Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department.
