Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician Specialist for Memorial Regional Medical Center. The role provide pharmacy services, manage inventory, conduct compliance audits and financial transactions, and lead specialized department activities including chemotherapy IV compounding and sterile IV preparation oversight.

You will educate staff and patients, verify prescriptions, and maintain records while adhering to infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ExCPT or equivalent certification and state registration required.
• 1 year of pharmacy experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care or Home Infusion.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions for accuracy.
• Educate patients on medication use and safety.
• Assist in education and supervision of newer pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure infection-control compliance.
• Support chemotherapy IV compounding and sterile IV prep oversight.
