Pharmacy Technician Specialist – Inpatient (Finance)

Work Schedule: 100% FTE; Day/Evening Schedules. Mix of AM and PM schedules, ranging 6:30AM - 11PM. Weekend rotation required. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay:

Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Evening and night shift differential
  • Weekend differential

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:

  • Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.

The ideal candidate will have sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience. Experience performing in a fast-paced and high volume environment preferred. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential to this role.

Work Experience

  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
