Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist registered pharmacists with drug packaging and distribution. You will support care for patients across age groups, fill in-patient orders (including IV) under supervision, and help maintain stock and dispense automation in the Pharmacy.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with CPhT or Pharmacy Technician registration. The position offers a 7a–3:30p shift, Monday–Friday with every 4th weekend and a sign-on bonus up to $2500.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No minimum years of experience stated.
• Current certification (CPhT), Pharmacy Technician Registration, or Pharmacy Intern Certificate.
• If not SC Board registered, must register with SC as Pharmacy Technician before start date if hired.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in packaging and distribution of drugs.
• Provides care to Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients.
• Fills in-patient drug orders (including IV) under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintains stock levels on nursing units and within Pharmacy.
• Restocks automated dispensing machines and labels/pre-packs medications.
• Delivers medications to nursing units as needed and ensures orderliness of Pharmacy.
• Performs documentation and record-keeping for controlled substances and conducts unit inspections.
