Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing orders, packaging, labeling, and cashiering in our clinic pharmacy. You will help maintain inventory, process prescriptions, and ensure accurate charges at the register.

Responsibilities include assisting with prescription entry, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and applying knowledge of drugs and health terminology to support patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• CPhT certification preferred; not required.
• Experience in pharmacy settings preferred.
• Strong cash handling and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Operate electronic cash register and handle payments.
• Maintain inventory records and verify prescriptions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of pharmacy areas.
• Assist with prescription entry into ambulatory system.
