Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking an outpatient pharmacy technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing outpatient prescriptions. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, following all applicable laws and regulations.

Completion of MN Board of Pharmacy training is required, and Epic experience is preferred. minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and to be a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

• 1 year of outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.

About This Position

The outpatient pharmacy technician assists pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of outpatient prescriptions. The outpatient pharmacy technician works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in a manner consistent with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Completion of MN Board of Pharmacy required training. Prior experience with Epic preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (required)

• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient pharmacy experience

• Computer, keyboard, and point of sale skills
• Excellent customer service skills required

Salary Range: 113 Service Workers 19 ($25.26 - $35.67), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
