Job summary

North Memorial Health in Minnesota is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist following state regulations.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved technician program, with Minnesota registration and national certification attained within one year of hire. Day/Evening shifts with on-site work are available.

About This Position

Assists the pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications. The pharmacy technician will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in a manner consistent with the rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Diploma from an approved pharmacy technician training program, an employer based training program or one year experience as a pharmacy technician lieu of accredited pharmacy tech diploma.

Experience

• Minimum one year experience as a pharmacy technician required or, in lieu of experience a diploma/certificate from an approved pharmacy technician training program accepted.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Computer and keyboard skills.

Licensure/Certification

• Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration
• State Requirement
• Valid certification from a national pharmacy technician certification body as defined by the Board of Pharmacy obtained within one year of hire. Certification needs to be maintained once obtained. NMHC Standard

Benefit Eligibility: Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.

Salary Range: 113 Service Workers 19 ($25.26 - $35.67), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
