Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills so they can fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and perform other Pharmacy Department duties as directed.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians if certified.
• Handle cash and assist customers at the OTC aisle; ensure correct dispensing and inventory.
• Maintain compliance with the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Support pharmacy staff in coordinating clinical services and external providers.
• Participate in training to maintain PTCB certification and continuing education.
