Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision and perform pharmacy duties in accordance with company policies. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coach technicians when PTCB certified.

In addition to technical tasks, you will engage customers, resolve issues, and help deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist technicians when certified.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients, resolve issues and provide product/service assistance.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and cash handling.
