Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, processing prescriptions and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient data, verify medicines, assist with inventory, and support clinical services as needed.

The role requires English fluency, flexible hours, and basic math/computer skills. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens exposure is a plus.
• Good math and computer skills to accurately fill prescriptions and operate POS.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred or obtained as a condition of promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and handle cash and register tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers locate products.
• Support inventory management and maintain proper records for Rx drugs.
• Assist with clinical services coordination and coordination with health providers as needed.
• adheres to company policies and pharmacy code of conduct.
