Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.
• Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager and acquires continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; assist with/coach technicians and cashiers as applicable.
• Process prescriptions, enter patient and drug information, check for interactions and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory, assist with ordering, unpacking, storing shipments, and resolving discrepancies.
• Handle cash transactions and transactions on the sales floor; guide customers to OTC products as needed.
• Support coordination of clinical services and relationships with local medical providers.
• Uphold Good Faith Dispensing and Pharmacy Code of Conduct as mandated.
• Maintain store cleanliness and compliance with company policies; participate in training and development.
