Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, performing duties in accordance with state, federal, and company policies.

You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, enter patient data, and help maintain accurate medication records, contributing to safe, efficient service. Responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving questions, handling cash, assisting with inventory, and supporting clinical services as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification required or pursuing it for promotion.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions processing.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions, verify accuracy and check for interactions.
• Handle cash register duties and customer payments.
• Support inventory management and ordering.
• Assist with clinical services as needed.
