Walgreens Co. is seeking an entry-level pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, performing pharmacy duties in accordance with company policies.

You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions, with coaching for technicians and cashiers when certified. Responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving issues, and supporting inventory, clerical tasks, and clinical services as needed.

Formación

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the pharmacist in pharmacy practice under supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Assist with and coach technicians and cashiers in system operations when certified.
• Greet customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Support inventory management: ordering, unpacking, stocking, and stock checks.
• Perform clerical duties and support pharmacy manager with workflow and documentation.
