Job summary

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician Program Director to ensure program effectiveness, supervise instructional staff, and maintain accreditation standards for the Pharmacy Technician program.

The role encompasses organizational leadership, curriculum development, and coordination with externships to support student success. The candidate will oversee faculty performance, schedule adherence, and ongoing program evaluation, aligning with Concorde policies and mission

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of practical work experience in the field.
• State licensure as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is required by law.
• CPhT certification may be required by state law; if not required, certification is preferred.
• Hospital experience with IV and compounding experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, and supervise faculty for the department.
• Conduct regular observations/evaluations of instructors.
• Ensure student evaluations are completed and summaries shared with faculty.
• Assist with professional development plans for staff.
• Assist with budgeting and ensure allocations support the program.
• Review student progress toward graduation and determine eligibility.
