Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Walpole, MA is hiring a Production Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care team. You will dispense and label prescriptions, prepare unit dose packaging, and ensure accurate labeling and QA checks for every order.

The role requires an active MA Pharmacy Technician license, strong math skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday 10am–6pm with one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• Active MA State Board License required.
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) as directed.
• Pull pre-packed blister cards and affix labels as needed.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions and perform QA checks.
• Prepare orders for delivery and assist with other duties as assigned.
