Job summary
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Lexington, SC facility. The role involves labeling, dispensing prescriptions and unit-dose packaging for delivery, with hours Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM EST.

Qualifications
- Active South Carolina State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
- 1+ year in retail or LTC pharmacy preferred.
- Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
- Understand basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
Responsibilities
- Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
- Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
- Prepare unit dose packaging when appropriate, by hand or with machines.
- Affix labels to the correct pre-packed blister cards.
- Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
- Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
- Prepare orders for delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
