Qualifications
- Active South Carolina State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
- 1+ year experience in retail or LTC pharmacy.
- Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
- Understanding of basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
- Ability to complete projects promptly.
- Ability to work with little supervision or guidance.
Responsibilities
- Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
- Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
- Prepare unit-dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) as directed.
- Pull correct pre-packed blister cards and affix prescription labels.
- Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
- Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
- Prepare orders for delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
