Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in delivering medications to patients in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. This PRN/As Needed role involves filling cassettes, preparing IV medications, and delivering supplies across departments under direct supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board where required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required based on state requirement.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the pharmacy technician assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
• Fills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prints out and fills label requests for First dose or Stat medications.
• Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.

PRN/As Needed (weekday shifts 8a-4:30p, weekend shifts 8a-1:30p)

Compensation:

$20.50/PRN Rate
