Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to process and fill prescription orders, assist with inventory and packing, and support pharmacy operations. You will ensure accurate data entry and maintain supplies for efficient workflow.

The role requires an active PhT license, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and endurance to stand for long periods. Strong Microsoft Office skills and prior contractor experience with UHG or affiliates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted State or NHA PhT license
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
• Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite
• Has previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
• Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
• Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed (includes vials, caps, labels, etc.)
