Job summary

Optum, a part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to retrieve medication, count and package orders for pharmacist review, and maintain stock levels. You may contact patients for service calls and assist with order inquiries.

Primary responsibilities include processing prescription orders, packing shipments, inventory management, and stocking supplies. Requires a valid PhT license and ability to lift 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted State or NHA PhT license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with breaks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification.
• Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients.
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.
• Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed.
