Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in processing prescriptions and medical supply orders.
You will enter patient information into the pharmacy computer system and assist with inventory management while engaging with customers about medications and health services. The role requires a Hawaii state certificate of registration as a Pharmacy Technician and at least one year of experience; strong cash-handling and English communication skills
Competenze
- Completion of pharmacy technical program or on-the-job education/pharmacy work experience preferred.
- One year of work experience as pharmacy technician/clerk is preferred.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and communicate effectively in English.
Mansioni
- Assist the pharmacist in processing and filling prescriptions and medication orders.
- Enter orders and patient information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and handle third-party insurance filings.
- Perform sales transactions and inform customers about medications and health services.
- Files insurance claims on paper and electronically.
