Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temporary position in Hawaii. The role involves assisting the pharmacist with processing and filling prescriptions, reviewing orders, and entering patient information into the pharmacy system.

You will maintain inventory, handle cash transactions, and assist customers with medication details and health care services. Prior Hawaii technician certification and about one year of relevant experience are preferred.

Competenze

• Completion of pharmacy technical program or on-the-job education/pharmacy work experience preferred.
• Current Hawaii State certificate of registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
• One year of work experience, preferably as pharmacy technician/clerk.
• Ability to handle cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to be accurate and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, sometimes stressful environment.

Mansioni

• Assist the pharmacist in processing and filling prescriptions and medication/medical supply orders.
• Review and enter orders and patient information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Process and assist in the maintenance of pharmacy inventory.
• Perform sales transactions and provide customers/patients with information about medications, health insurance, and other health care services.
• File third-party insurance claims on paper and electronically.
