Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist pharmacists with prescriptions by counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions.
• Ensure customers receive all prescriptions.
• File written prescription forms after dispensing.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms.
• Maintain organized filing system for invoices and claims in accordance with policy and state law.
• Help customers find over-the-counter items.
• Maintain understanding of the pharmacy scheduling system (MPP).
• Assist in data entry of MPP information and attendance logs.
• Order, stock, and maintain pharmacy inventory; handle returns.
• Assist in processing inventory control and outdates/credits.
