Job summary

Hannaford is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk/Technician to greet customers, assist pharmacists with prescription processing, and manage daily pharmacy tasks. You will help prepare prescriptions, file insurance claims, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team. Eligible candidates should meet background checks and be comfortable handling sensitive information in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions by counting, labeling, and pricing.
• Ensure customers receive all prescriptions and file forms after dispensing.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms.
• Maintain organized records and inventory in adherence with policies and law.
• Assist customers in locating OTC items and understanding pharmacy processes.
• Operate pharmacy software and register, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support department cleanliness and safety standards.
