Job summary

Sam’s Club in Roseville, MI is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, patient services, and merchandise maintenance in the Pharmacy area. You will handle cash transactions, assist with third‑party insurance claims, and ensure accurate data entry in our pharmacy software.

A strong focus on customer service and regulatory compliance is required. Minimum state requirements apply; certification (PTCE or ExCPT) must be obtained within 9 months of entry.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases by operating a cash register and handling payments.
• Maintain pharmacy merchandise and displays, stock and rotate items, and manage signs and pricing.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment, including third-party insurance claims and patient communications.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and support prescription pickup with proper verification.

Education
