Job summary

Sam's Club in Fridley, MN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, assist patients with purchases and insurance claims, and maintain a compliant pharmacy environment. You will enter prescription data, dispense medications, and help ensure accuracy and privacy under HIPAA guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include meeting state requirements for Pharmacy Technicians and obtaining national certification within 9 months of starting.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.
• HIPAA acknowledgment and patient privacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription fulfillment and third-party insurance claims as needed.
• Provide patient/member service in the Pharmacy area, assisting with prescription orders and purchases.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and dispense medications accurately.
• Maintain the Pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures and ensure safety and compliance.

Education

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months
