Job summary
Sam's Club in Scarborough, ME is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the prescription fulfillment process, assist patients, and collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing.

Qualifications
- Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or ExCPT within 9 months.
- Licensure/registration with State Board of Pharmacy as required by state law.
Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions and fulfill medications using pharmacy software.
- Assist pharmacist with third‑party insurance claims and rejections.
- Provide patient service at prescription drop-off and pickup.
- Maintain pharmacy area, stocking, labeling, and pricing; ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation of transactions.
- Handle returns and claims per company policy.
