Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in processing prescriptions and maintaining compliance with regulations. You will interact with patients, enter data, and assist with medication preparation in a fast-paced setting.

Under supervision, you will help ensure accurate labeling, patient safety, and HIPAA compliance while contributing to a team that values accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work at 16+ or 18+ depending on location.
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with preparation of medications and order processing within regulatory limits.
• Answer patient questions and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace organized and compliant.
