Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on location requirements).
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare medications and enter data within regulatory guidelines.
• Interact with patients, answer questions, and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and compliant.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and ensure accurate prescription workflows.
