Qualifications

• Experience assisting with data entry, medication preparation, and order processing within regulatory limits.
• Knowledge of prescription terminology and dosage forms is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and pharmacy procedures is expected.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing prescriptions and data entry under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepare medications and handle prescription workflows.
• Answer questions, process transactions, and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain organization: manage records, restock supplies, and keep workspace clean.
